		- Karl Ciesluk visited Vättis as artist in residence.

	- 2011

		- Several art projects have been planned, one was
		realized.
A highlight was the invitation for a speech at the 3rd
World Sculpture Conference in Changchun, China. Our 10th
publication ("Vättner Anzeiger") has published an
		article about the event.

		- A common label for all the art projects has been
developped, signs to all the projects have been
		installed.

	- 2010

		- Several art projects were realized (2 short lived
projects and a permanent one). All freely accessible
projects in the landscape around Vättis.

	- 2009

		- On 8 August 2009 the Vaettis Sculpture Path was
opened by Kantonsrätin Frau Heidi Hanselmann. Its
twelve different stone sculptures were created
especially for the alpine setting of this spot by
individual artists invited from around the world. The
sculpture path begins very near the village and is
always open, so the sculptures can now be enjoyed by
		visitors all year round.

	- 2009

		- The traditional national holiday on the 1st of
August was complemented with a fire sculpture "Die
Schweiz als Feuerball" (Switzerland as a ball of fire)
		by KUSPI(Kurt Spirig, artist
from Widnau, CH). More than 300 spectators enjoyed the
		show

	- 2009

		- The stone sculpture symposium organised by the
Association began on 19 July 2009, and was opened by
Mayor Otto Bonderer. The Alpenhorn Group Brangis
welcomed the twelve international artists to Vaettis,
and many villagers joined in the celebrations. During
the three weeks of the symposium at Aslätscha, Vättis,
CH, it drew more than 1500 visitors to view "work in
progress" along the sculpture path itself. A parallel
evening programme attracted some 800 people, while a
further 250 came to the exhibition in the local museum,
despite its being open only a few hours daily. The
presence of twelve international sculptors whose
creations ornament a freely accessible sculpture path
also resulted in a collection of photographs (which may
be viewed on this website), a video and a book (to be
published in 2010) and many pleasant memories for all.
Not least the local people themselves, whose generosity
and hospitality supported the organisers and artists
		alike throughout the symposium.

 -
The symposium met with an unexpectedly large interest
also among locals and was activly supported by many
